Potok Chaim - My Name is Asher Lev

Disturbing. Brilliant.

A second reading.

Asher is obsessed with art. He is a Hassidic Jew. Division.

To quote a review, "It hit me deep and made me think."

Very hard to get a book better than this. One of my all time very best.

Grisham, John - The Broker

Very good.

Yet another Grisham worth applause.

Nice to have it not set entirely in America for once.

He still churns out fiction at an awesome rate - so you can't but wonder about the quality sometimes. Read A LOT of his stuff, there's only been one I wasn't so keen on (Bleachers).

Lewis, C.S - Mere Christianity

(wrong cover)

I read this on the long car trip down to Adelaide, so I'm not sure if I got the entireity of it all.

Excellent. Relevant, helpful.
No wonder he's regarded as one of the greatest theologians.

Everyone should read this - at least once in life.

Lee, Harper - To Kill a Mockingbird

(wrong cover yet again)

I LOVE this book. I was probably about 12 the last time I read it.

This book has the ability to make me angry - which does take a bit of something.
I'm sure it won a Pulitzer Prize for some reason :)

Reminds me a little of John Grisham's 'A Time to Kill'

Would be in my top 10.
